IBM FileNet P8 is the Java rewrite of the FileNet software suite.

Well known in banks and insurances, IBM FileNet has been successfuly deployed for very large content repositories. It is the very first ECM Fast2 has been dealing with. After a decade of successful migrations, this infrastructure is now become routine for our ETL.

On the techier side...

IBM FileNet P8 comes with a full-fledged Java API, abstracting low-level SOAP and IIOP underlying protocols. Fast2 bases its connectors upon this Java API (through Jace), handling all technical subtelties such as data model conversion and batch operations.
